Our Artists

Four residents. One shared standard.

Four Artists.
One Vision.

Revere Tattoo was built around a simple premise: take the time to know your clients, and honor the stories they want to tell. The name says it all — to revere is to feel deep respect and admiration. That's the foundation of every piece we make here.

Our four resident artists came together through shared values: a reverence for the craft, a commitment to custom work, and a genuine investment in the people who trust them with permanent art.

Tony Ancheta

Traditional · Custom Color · Old School

Tony is a cornerstone of the Revere studio — the kind of artist whose work reads as confident from across the room. His traditional and custom color pieces are built with intention: bold outlines, saturated fills, compositions that wear well on the body over decades.

His portfolio spans classic American imagery and contemporary custom work, always executed with the same discipline. If you want something that looks like a tattoo — unapologetically, permanently — Tony is your artist.

Paulo "Coach" Luis

Japanese · Black & Gray · Realism · Portraiture

Coach describes himself as "a student of the arts" — and it shows. Formally trained in illustration and painting, his foundation gives him a technical range that most tattoo artists develop over many more years. Clean lines, smooth shading, and the kind of contrast that makes a piece sing.

His work spans Japanese and Asian styles, traditional Americana, black and gray, and portraiture. As a husband and father of two, he brings the same intentionality to his work as he does to his family — full-time, no shortcuts.

Josh Kaleikau

Traditional · Color · Custom Script

Josh puts it plainly: "tattooing found me, not the other way around." A lifelong drawer who progressed from street art in junior high to a two-year apprenticeship and a career he would pursue regardless of compensation. That kind of motivation comes through in the work.

His traditional and colorful pieces are energetic and confident. His custom script and graphic lettering occupy their own lane — the kind of type work that looks considered rather than printed. A father of five who credits his family with keeping him focused, Josh is also the first to admit he's still learning. That's a good sign in any artist.

Matt Zopfi

Asian-Inspired Neo-Traditional · Nature · Spirituality

Matt has been tattooing since 2006, developing what he describes as "a unique blended style of Asian inspired Neo-traditional." Rooted in the Bay Area, he has worked across the Midwest and South, and the range shows in a portfolio that draws from nature, spirituality, and science without leaning on any one too hard.

His philosophy is simple: make art that looks as good in twenty years as it does today. The way to get there is continuous evolution — he hasn't stopped developing his style since the beginning. That kind of long-game thinking produces work that doesn't date itself.
